No referral is required. New York is a direct access state — you can book directly. If your care requires more than 10 visits or extends beyond 30 days, a prescription will be needed per NY state law.

How do you determine when an athlete is ready to return to sport?

We use objective return-to-sport testing — not just symptom resolution or time elapsed. That includes movement screens, strength assessments, and sport-specific load testing to confirm the body can handle what the sport requires before full clearance is given.

Do you accept insurance?

Atlas PT is a cash-based, out-of-network clinic. We accept cash, credit and debit cards, American Express, and HSA/FSA. We provide superbills for possible reimbursement through your out-of-network benefits.
